I want to talk to you today about a community of like-minded people. Before I tell you about Journal Jam Club, I want to talk to you about what Skool is and what it can be.

To be brief, think of the Skool community as a bigger version of Facebook groups and forums combined. What are Facebook groups? Facebook groups are groups of like-minded people who share a subject or niche, for those of you who want to get technical. For instance, say that you like monster cars. You will want to find someone who can talk monster cars to you all day if you let it. So you go on Facebook, and you search for monster cars. You find this group of people who like monster cars. You go and join this group. Now, some groups have a rule that you talk only about that subject. So, if you wanna talk about what your granddaughter, who is two years old, and she did a cute little dance. Some people ask you in these groups, “Was that in your monster car?“If you say no, I just wanted to mention what my granddaughter was doing yesterday, the admin may tell you to stick to the subject. Other groups, just maybe, allow you to talk about your granddaughter and her cute little dance.

Skool is kinda like that. If the owner of the community says you talk about monster cars, the best places to buy a monster car, even teaches you in a classroom course setting how to fix your monster car, and finally gives you a video on the subject, that is all you talk about. You don’t talk about your granddaughter, you don’t talk about her cute little dance.  But Skool is also like a forum, where you can ask questions, and anyone can answer.  Admins can also ask questions, like in a Facebook group. So, you can find your people in a Skool Community.

What is Journal Jam Club?

If you like writing or journaling, I have two communities for you.   The first one is a Facebook group.  By the way, both are called the Journal Jam Club. At the moment, I am talking about the Journal Jam Club Facebook Group. It is actually kind of funny because I started the Journal Jam Club Facebook Group after the Journal Jam Club Skool Community. The Journal Jam Club Facebook Group is where I share daily journal prompts and advice for those who feel stuck about what to write.  It is not a requirement to post and engage, but I would love it if you are into journal prompts; this is the group for you.  It is free to join.

Likewise, there is the Journal Jam Club Skool Community. Given that you now know what a Skool community is, it is a community where I do the same thing as on Journal Jam Club Facebook Group, but it is extended to the point that I may have posted articles, challenges, tips, courses, and business advice for those who may want to turn this hobby into a business (that is coming later this year). Still curious about what I am talking about.  Let me give you a couple of scenarios:

You have always been curious about writing. You heard about friends and family talk about journaling.  You are wondering about this hobby, but you do not know where to start, or you are not sure if journaling is for you or not.  You are on Facebook, and come across The Journal Jam Club: Daily Reflection and Journal Prompts (There is another group that is similar to mine.  I have not joined, but I support what this person is doing.) You just want to get the feel of the group, try a couple of prompts, and see.  That is perfectly normal.  You are welcome.  Journal Jam Club Facebook Group and Journal Jam Club Skool Community are also for those who have been journaling for a while.

Now, if you are curious about the Skool community, Journal Jam Club, you are welcome there as well.  One of the things I do want to caution you about is the price.   You are welcome to join, look around, participate, and kick the tires a little for 7 days.  After 7 days, it is $5/month.  That is a small cup of coffee from the company with a mermaid for a logo. I think it is doable.  Why, because you will get a lot for that amount.  I have no premium courses on the site for the moment, because I will be honest, it is only me. I know what it is like to want to learn something, only to pay $27, $47, or even $97 and up, asking yourself what is more important, eating, utilities, rent, or journaling.

Conclusion:

Journal Jam Club Facebook Group and Journal Jam Club Skool Community are two of the journaling groups I have in Facebook groups and the Skool Community. You can join.  Journal Jam Club Facebook Group is totally free, while the Journal Jam Club Skool Community is free for the first 7 days, then it is $5/month. Journal Jam Club Facebook Group has advice and journal prompts, and Journal Jam Club Skool Community has advice, mini courses (coming soon), prompts, and community.  Both have lots of engagement, if you want it.

I invite you to join one of these groups:
